Chimeric RNA/DNA oligonucleotides have been shown to promote single nucleotide
exchange in genomic DNA. A chimeric molecule was designed to introduce an A to C
nucleotide conversion at the Ser 365 position of the rat factor IX gene. The oligonucleotides
